A purpose-built accommodation precinct for First Nations women and children experiencing homelessness is now complete!

This new community, named Mari-Mari-Ba (meaning 'Butterfly Place' in the Yagarabul language), is a significant step forward in providing safe, affordable, and culturally appropriate housing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children.

It also aligns with our commitment to closing the gap on First Nations housing through our Homes for Queenslanders plan
